HELPING MOVE SYDNEY INTO THE FUTURE
The WestConnex NewM5 project was implemented to provide a 33km motorway to link western and south-western Sydney with the city, Kingsford Smith Airport and Port Botany precincts. It was largely constructed in the M4 and M5 corridors and comprised of approximately 14km of road above ground and approximately 19km of tunnels, including a new tunnel linking the two corridors.
Ripa Concrete Cutting were fortunate enough to be part of this milestone by offering the below services:

Road & Flat sawing both outside and in the tunnel

Extensive core drilling and hand/ring saw works

Demolition of Kingsgrove Tunnel (including the use of the rock breaker and hammer)

Pile Splitting to split rock piles

Track mounted wall sawing
