RECTIFICATION WORKS
Ripa Concrete Cutting was called in by Shape Australia when a reaction wall inside a testing facility within UTS failed under pour causing the finish to be unviable.
A methodology was put in place for the corrections which entailed Ripa Concrete Cutting using their Track Mounted Wall Saw to saw cut every 10mm at a tolerance of 1mm. In order for this to be done, Ripa Concrete Cutting had to make custom structural steel jigs on a roller system to mount the Wall Saw too in order to achieve the desired tolerance.
This equated to over 2.4km of saw cutting.
We also designed and installed a plastic bubble prior to commencement of works which assisted with slurry and dust control. The works took 2 weeks to complete and is now able to be used as intended.
